OMG, something is outside my house in my backyard!!!
Something was just in my backyard rustling around with plastic. The stupid light only shows half of the yard so I couldn't see anything on the otherside. I got my flashlight but when I came back, whatever it was, was gone. I am such a scaredy cat and thought when I shined my flashlight to the otherside that I'd see people

That would be me too!
When I lived with my parents they had a sensor light in the backyard and whenever something went past it (raccoon, squirrel.. ) the light would turn on. Well, I hated staying in the basement because whenever I would see that light turn on I always had to check it out to make sure it wasn't a person I was super paranoid lol
Sooo yea, if it was me in your situation, I'd be doing the exact same thing

I text FH 'HURRY' lol Thankfully he was only down the street. He said it was probably a cat or racoon eating his figs

haha yea it was probably something like that. Hmm this reminds me- my DH is from NJ and he once had a bear in his yard that would be pretty crazy

Racoons! Make sure you keep your garbage cans locked or you will wake up to find garbage all over you yard!

probably a raccoon...one night i heard all these weird noises in the backyard and when we looked it was like national geographic...i swear i am not making this up!!!!
there were 6 raccoons and 4 opossums! 2 of the raccoons were babies and they were sooo cute....and on the side of the house there was 2 cats fighting (we have a lot of Ferrel cats in our neighborhood)
it was the craziest thing I've ever seen!!!

Racoons are terrible, I know! One time this summer, I was at my parents beach house and I woke up because I heard something get knocked over outside my window. I thought it was our neighbor doing something and I kept thinking, what in the heck is he doing at this hour? Then my dad gets up and it turns out it was 2 racoons! One was on our back doorstep (we just had the screen door locked) so my dad slammed the door shut and I got a flashlight to scare off the other racoon and he just sat there still chomping away on our garbage. I couldn't believe it!
