OMG!!! THE DAY FROM HELL!!!!!

So I'm getting into my supervisor's car this afternoon for our yearly trip to toys r us for new toys to use in therapy sessions with the kids when I split my pants... not a small rip but a huge gaping hole from my crotch to my knee... i'm not exaggerating.... from my crotch to my knee!!!!! I run out of the car telling him to go without me with no explanation and run back inside.... I hide in my office trying to figure out how i'm gonna get to my car so that i can go home and change... i walk two blocks to my car with a sweater wrapped around me and holding my bag in front of me and realize that I LEFT MY CAR KEYS IN MY OFFICE!!!!! After going to get the keys, I finally get home to change.. Not even 5 minutes after I get back to the office, the heel on my shoe breaks completely off.... so now here I am barefoot in my office with supervision in half hour... how do I explain this to my supervisor and what the hell do I tell him about why i ran out of the car?????

I guess I can see where this would be pretty funny but I'm mortified!!!! Not a good day!

Just tell your supervisor what happened. It might be embarrassing, but it's the truth, and he'll appreciate your honesty. It's not like you crapped yourself, you know? It's just a wardrobe malfunction.

Honestly... I would tell him EXACTLY what happened. It's not like you did anything wrong. Just woke up on th wrong side of the bed.

its more like her clothes woke up the wrong side of the bed... but i agree, it might be slightly embarrassing to tell him that your pants split... but i would definitely tell him... maybe he'll have pitty and send you home early! lol
