OMG!! The Hall changed my times!!!

When I went there last night to pick the food they told me they 'never had my request to make it an hour earlier in writting and the best they could do was 45 min. earlier' and I now I have to have my cocktail hour start at 12:45 instead of 1 and my reception end at 5:45 instead of 6...but my reception cards say 1 O'CLOCK for the cocktail hour!!!
I haven't sent my invites out yet, but I already have them put together and ready to get licked and sent out. So I asked my invite lady and she wants $30 for new inserts. Should I get the new inserts or just tell everyone about it..or something else...HELP!!!

***EDITED-I SPOKE TO MY INVITE LADY AND SHE THOUGHT SHE WAS GOING TO HAVE MAKE US UP NEW INSERTS AND MAIL THEM TO ALL OF OUR GUESTS. WHEN I TOLD HER IT WAS JUST THE INSERTS SHE TOLD ME .30 A PIECE, MAKING IT $30 TOTAL***

ACK! that's TERRIBLE!

IMO, i would probably pay for the new inserts... you went through all the trouble to have nice invitations -- it would kinda suk if they didn't have the correct information...

They can't give you 15 more minutes? Why wont they let you have Cocktail Hour start at 1:00pm?
Do they have another wedding that night? If they
don't have anything starting at 6:15 or 6:30 even
7:00pm; I don't see what the problem is.

I would discuss this with them again. You told them about this. It's their mistake that they did not make record of this. They need to take care of their mistake.

Yea, they have another wedding right after ours AND theirs is has a ceremony before the reception so they are concerned about our cars leaving and their cars coming...blah blah wha wha I am PI$$ED

Thanks , I was so excited to go and pick out the food and everything and then they spring this on me and I wanted to start Bridezilla-ing right there! UGH...15 min. sounds like nothing but it really is a BIG inconvience! That means we have 15 minutes LESS for pics before the CH! GRRRRR
