I just heard on the new that HAIL is expected soon in Glen Cove where I am!!!

This will be the second time we have gotten hail since we moved in in March

DH called me at work and told me to get my butt home before the rain, because the warehoue by him flooded and 2 people died. This was in College Point so I left work and got home just as it started drizzling here and now it is thundering

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE T-storms
I miss them since I moved her from Texas.

I love the ones you can feel through your toes. The deep rumble and angry crash. The sound of the pounding rain. I used to walk outside (as an adult) and sit in the rain for a while, till I got cold. Also loved the errr...'Heat storms' in Texas. Thunder and lightning, no rain, just watching it chase across the clouds.

Yeah all those poor people did was step in a puddle I don't know about anyone else on LI but we didn't get hit bad by me! I drove home like a maniac for nothing.
