OMG, Tonight was AWESOME!!!!

My friend Amy bought me a ticket to see Rockapella (you know, from Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego and the Folgers commercials) with her tonight in Manhattan. I've seen these guys around 13 times now - about twice a year since 99 - always a great show, really nice people. Amy and I were on the aisle of the second row, GREAT seats.

At every show, they bring a woman onstage and sing to her - they used to sing 'Pretty Woman', but now they sing The Temptations' 'Ain't To Proud to Beg'. Well, I've never been chosen, and tonight was sadly no exception. They chose another girl to sing to. OK, I thought, maybe next time.

The rest of the show is great, having a blast. They came out for their encore, and I shouted out a request - a song called 'Dance With Me'. So Scott (the blond guy in the group) says 'Do you mean sing the song, or actually dance with you?' I laughed, and said while I wouldn't mind both, I really just wanted to hear the song. So they start the song, and then Scott and Kevin (curly haired guy) are waving at me to come onstage.

SO I DID.

And I danced with the guys and had SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!! I'll have pictures soon, if anyone wants to see them. No other fan has ever had this honor. After the show, Jeff (vocal percussion guy) says 'No Pretty Woman ever got to do as much as you did.'

Oh That Was GREAT. I'm still on cloud 9.
