OMG-UPDATED
I get an email from my friend today that she was up all night with back pains--she is due 12/7--- and talk to her when she is on the way home from the dr today
He tested her for a bunch of stuff(no, dilation,heartbeat normal, etc) listens to baby--says baby is still very high- and not ready to come down-
and that the back pain which was shooting around to front was probably from change in position of baby-- and sends her home and says see you next week
and as we are talking she comments on how she was crazy if she thought she wouldnt need drugs because if this wasn't labor then there was no way she could handle the pain
Well my phone rings at 10 to 11 and I am like who is calling this late---it is her-- hysterical--she got up to go to the bathroom and had the baby within a few minutes in her bathroom and was on the way to the hospital in an ambulance![]()
Can you believe it? She is concerned about the baby but ambulance workers say HE is fine!!!!!
I am so excited and can't wait to hear back from them tonight once they get to the hospital---
I started screaming and scared the crap out of DH who was sleeping!!!!
ETA-Ok so here is what happened--- she was having contractions (although the dr thought it was something else) and her water did break at a little after 10 pm and they called the ambulance---and Dad delivered the baby at 10:18 !!!! He had to run downstairs to see what time it was since no one else was there!!!! She never had to push until she delivered the placenta at the hospital!!!
Mom and Baby are doing great--The little guy is 5 lbs 10.8 ozs and 18 1/4 inches---
