OMG What an a**

I went to see a florist today. Small place based in Brooklyn so no threat of any of you encountering him, but he had the nerve to talk down to me for my choice of flowers and then.......
He started telling me how horrible my RH is and how ugly the outside ceremony will be if I don't add my own flowers and decorations (it's outside in a garden so doesn't really need flowers). He even made me explain to him why I chose this hall. I had to JUSTIFY OUR decision to this a**. I was steaming mad. He kept insisting that he doesn't understand why we would choose this place, was very condescending and tried to talk me out of having my wedding there because its inconvenient for HIM to set it up there since there's more than one wedding at a time. Needless to say, I won't be booking with him or going into that place EVER again. His wife was very nice though, (I met her after my talk with him) wish I'd met her first, their work was nice.
Did anyone have trouble with their vendor as far as not having enough time to set up flowers at RC where there's more than one wedding at a time?

I'm so sorry, what a jerk!! I have no idea what he is talking about, Crest Hollow is beautiful. Oh well, its his loss.

Wow, what great business sense he has. I can see that business growing in leaps and bounds.

I applaud you for taking your business elsewhere. Why should you have to justify to a vendor your choice of RH ? If he didn't want to travel to Woodbury from Brooklyn, he just should have said so upfront. Were you supposed to pick a RH in Brooklyn ?
Tons of other florists out there, especially ones that have done parties at your RH.

What a jerk! Definitely don't recommend him to anyone. Your RH is gorgeous, don't listen to what he has to say. It was sooo unprofessional of him to say that

I can't believe this owner is so judgemental about your choice of RH. Well, that's why he's still an owner of a small flower shop!

I wish I would have gone with my FH he looooves people like that....he plays off their nastiness. I, on the other hand, am very passive. I just came in to get a general idea for prices and he was recommended by several people. Don't get me wrong, his wife is wonderful, but because my first encounter was with him I am not doign business with them. My MIL and my mother were with me and they both said he shouldn't be allowed to talk to people, rather locked up in the storage room. He went on and on about all these brides coming and kissing their hands for their amazing work. I was so disgusted by that. Ok your work is nice, but no reason to add that in aside from all the other cr*p he told me.

CHCC is GORGEOUS!!! That was my first choice if I would have left my wedding on New Years Eve.. I llove that place!!!!!!!!!!
