4 months ago I started a new job with the coroners office. Great job great people great pay & benefits. They just offered me a job in Florida, WEST PALM BEACH. Same pay same benefits,they will even pay for our moving expenses. Now here's the BUT.... I have 2 Weeks to make my decision. What about my wedding in October . My honey doesn't really want to move to Florida and my parents aren't to thrilled with me relocating. What would you do????
Do you want to move to West Palm Beach? If you choose not to relocate do you still have a job?

Personally I am not a big fan of change. If you are happy with your current job and FH and your family don't want you to move, I would stay. BUT, it is up to you. You need to think really hard about it, maybe do a pro/con list, and then make your decision. Good luck!
Well, I dont know where you live now but me & FH were talking last night and its so hard to stay on LI. So many houses are for sale by my house because they are older people and can not afford to stay here. I would of course, consider it. Look in to for the future. BTW, what do you do at the coroner? Just curious. I went to school for Mortuary science. If you don't take it, can you still keep the job here?

The job is still mine here. They have an opening in Palm Beach same job & job description. The salary is GREAT Mid 90's. My honey owns his own Landscaping business in Suffolk cty. He does very nicely. I know they have grass in Florida SO I'm sure he can do the same there... All I know is I really do want it, and then I know I'm really not sure at all. My parents his parents, his friends, my friends. Maybe a better life than LI it is really costly out here (houses) and I only have 2 weeks to decide. I was thinking of flying down there checking the new place out meet the other people and then look at some homes maybe that would make my decision easier... What do do what do do......
If your planning is done DO IT....a NY salary in FL is nothing to sneeze at . Would FH have a hard time finding a job? FL and NY are a short flight away.
Wow, that's a difficult decision to make! So many variables. So tempting, the weather's good and prices are low in Florida but what if you're not happy there. I feel for you.

I'd definitely be thinking about it. Great $ for Florida. An easy trip back to NY. Right now I'm in the 'it's so freakin expensive to live on LI' mindset.
The West Palm area in Florida is just as expensive as it is here in NY. But the landscaping business is year round in FL and a lot of people opt to have someone do their landscaping because of the heat.
Wow that is a very hard decision that you and FH have to make. You both have to sit down and really talk about this, and soon!!! It sounds great, but if you force him to move, it will only cause problems between the two of you. You really need to talk to him and come up with the decision together. Congrats on the job offer though! Please keep us posted.
