FH is in korea and I cant get to his bank statements to prove we paid the $1000. I wish I had kept photo copies of the checks we sent to them

Unfortunately, its my FH's account and I dont have his account # or anything. And since he's away (and we have little to no contact) I dont think I can get any info from the bank.

where does his mail go?? maybe get his last statement...and ususally theres photo copies attached that should be enough proof to hold them over!

Thanks for the suggestion. I just called his mom and had her check his statements. Apparently one of the checks bounced, but the photocopy of the paid check was sent to them with the statement...so I'm not sure if the check was actually paid or if it never went thru??? I'll have to have her call the bank tomorrow i guess...
Ugh...cant wait til we're married and I dont have to go to his mom about his finances (because she still has access to his accounts for some friggin reason ).

Can you check his account online? My bank posts the cancelled checks online.

I probably should check online.... I'm going to try to email FH tonight and see if he can give me his bank account info so that I can check (he can only access email in Korea, not actual websites).
