OMG..Is my fmil planning my shower

we came down for my fbil's high school graduation and sitting on the table is a stack of direction cards for the Swan club


aww...i just realized its not for me.... they are hosting their Air Force Academy parents club brunch- they have it their every year

i just got so excited because i want a shower so badly and noone has mentioned anything about planning one and im getting upset

sorry for the pointless post...thought i had something to celebrate

I'm sure someone is planning one for you!! Maybe they're just doing an awesome job of keeping it a surprise!

thats prob the case
every bride gets a shower
they are just good at hiding it ( unlike my fam...who's ruing the element of surprise)

well could they be saying that just to throw you off?! never fear - i'm sure that something is being planned. the whole point is to be surprised so they're not going to just come out and say it!

i dont think so....even if they were, my mother would definitely tell me cause shes just like that- shed make it all about her somehow

its just that according to timelines, my shower SHOULD take place in July or August...september at the least

Ive told my FH that I would love a nice summer bbq/pool party at his aunts house but I dont think anyone would impose on her now cause shes still upset from her miscarriage a few months ago

well ill keep hoping anyway
