What is some dumb shiiitt your dh has said or done since being married?


I know for a fact fh has done and said about 987973478589 dumb shiiit but I'm old and I can't remember them all so I'll share one from this past Sunday.lol

So the day before turkey day or dishwasher died. We go to SEARS on Saturday to buy a new one and this is what happens

fh-can we get this tomorrow?
salesperson- im sorry sir the earliest will be tuesday
fh- oh well i guess it will need to be next saturday. babe!! how are we going to take care of dirty dishes? should we buy paper goods?
me- ummmmmmm how about i use a sponge and dishwashing soap like ive been doing for the past few days.
fh- oh yeahhh

i made fun of him for a good two days

DH has also said/done about a gazillion stupid things too ... but for some reason, i can't think of anything really good right now ... i'll post later if i think of something

I know both Jerry and I have said and done stupid things but like Roz, my old azz self cant think right now. When I think of one I will post

I know the question was stupid things DH said but I thought of one that I said recently.

My car battery died a few weeks ago.


Me- since the battery died I cant lock the car

DH- why not?

Me- the remote isnt working because the battery is dead

DH- Celia you do know you can push the buttons on the door down and use the key to unlock it later

Me- uhhh oh yeah

Can it be something I did? lol.

I accidentally shredded our marriage license. I went to fidelity to change my name on my account, and I had some paperwork I didn't need but had my info on it, so I shredded the pile.

The next day during a road trip, I remembered our license was in that mix. Low and behold, I go home, and there's the pieces of it in the shredder.

Not even up to a year. LOL.

DH hasn't really done anything remotely dumb. lol.

Just the other day - Monday - this stupid fkn shyt happened.

DH leaves for work, parks on a meter a few blocks away and it's a few minutes before 8:30 (when the meters go into effect). Pops into a deli, orders a breakfast sandwich, and stands outside of the deli while they're making it, 'guarding' his car in case a meter maid comes by.

He sees one waddle over (because you know that even though they walk all day, most of them are the size of a goddamned house) and he says to her, 'I know it's just about 8:30, I'm just going into the deli to get change' (LIAR. HE KEEPS A TON OF QUARTERS IN THE CAR.) And she tells him that she will let him slide but that if she waddles back there and he hasn't paid and is still there, she will have to ticket him. (I added the 'waddle' part. She probably said 'walk'.)

He goes into the deli and starts b.s.-ing with the guy behind the counter and walks out to a ticket on the window for $35.

THAT'S ONE EXPENSIVE EGG AND CHEESE SANDWICH.

He said it was a test on human nature. Would she really ticket him, knowing he was right inside?

If I had THE MOST MISERABLE JOB IN THE WORLD, hell yes I would.

I see no need to test human nature.
