OMHQOTD Thursday

Ok here is my question-

Most of us have been married over a year now and our wedding day isnt as fresh in our minds as it was.

What is the 1 (or 2 or 3) things from your wedding you think you will always stick out and remember.

To answer my own question

There are 2 things

1) is when Jerry dropped the ring on the alter. I was hysterical

2) is when we resaid our vows for my MIL at the nursing home. I will never forget her smile and the pride on her face. We had given her the MOG flowers and she wore it on her wrist all day telling everyone that she was the 'Mother of the Groom'

I will remember the absolutely perfect weather, celebrating with my family, and my husband being so emotional. It was a wonderful day.

1) My Nana seeing me for the first time in the church...not a dry eye as my bridal party looked on.

2) My DH waving to me (arm fully extended over his head) as I got ready to walk down the aisle. Everyone was looking at me so no one but me and my dad saw.

3) Dancing with my dad...he was so emotional and happy.

4) Having a catch on a baseball field with my DH - was so us and made for some great pictures.

1- THE HULK!!!!
2- Mike falling in the mud
3- Mike making me laugh hysterically while I was saying my vows
4- When I got to the alter, Mike's first words to me were 'Very subtle dear'
5- Dancing with my dad and telling him to stop singing so I wouldn't cry

I had a few of my guy friends escort my mom/DH's parents/grandparents to their seats. It was supposed to be a somewhat informal escort, and two of my guy friends were just supposed to show Eric's parents, as a couple, to their seats.

Somehow, one of my guy friends wound up formally escorting Eric's dad down the aisle- just the two of them- to music. It is HYSTERICAL. I laugh like a hyena every time I watch this part of the video/think about it...it was just soooo awkward! I have no idea how on earth it even happened.

i will always remember how beautiful the weather turned out that day...for a day in april we had sunny skies and 75 degree weather...I was so happy...pictures came out amazing

1 - tarantella - it was sooo much fun and everyone was on the dance floor

2 - DH taking the mic and saying something before he cued 'aint nothing like a brooklyn girl' for the dj to play

3 - the ceremony. i was so focused on DH and the priest the whole time, it was like it was only us that existed (even though i later found out one of the FGs was jumpin in the aisle!! lol)

1.) My older BIL kept asking the camera man if his shlong should be in or out

2.) My underwear was falling down as I walked down the aisle

3.) I fell maybe 4 times that day, and once during the cotton eyed joe, which my uncle caught on camera

4.) MY younger BIL got hammered and fell into the pond outside my reception hall, ripping his tux on the spiked fence, and men's warehouse didn't charge him for the rip

5.) DH and I totally threw our practiced 'dance routine' for our song out the window. lol.

A few things actually!

1) Perfect weather

2) Being lifted in the air on a chair at the RH

3) The image of MIL scurrying away from the guys because they wanted her to go up in the chair. It was hysterical!

4) First Dance (Awwww)

5) My Dad's speech because it was loud and funny and left DH's side of the wedding hall like this: hahaha

Seeing Anthony for the first time, saying our vows and the limo ride to the RH, it was just us for that half hour

I remember being on a wedding high! We were so happy the week leading up to the wedding, the wedding and honeymoon - nothing could bring us down those weeks. I wish we could relive them all over again.

and it was the hottest day of the year!

1. Standing up at the alter with DH hearing the priest say, 'Steven.. repeat after me, Adriana with this ring' while DH stands there smiling but not really paying attention to what's going on lol. This then forces the priest to repeat himself 2 more times until I say, 'Steven!' which he responded by saying, 'what? oh yeah' lol

2. Having our Jr. Groomsmen (Dh's then 10 yr old cousin) go up to one of my flower girls (my then 9 year old cousin) wanting to dance with her since all the bridal party members were dancing with one another and seeing her run off only to be picked up and dragged to the dance floor by her brothers and cousins kicking and then running away.

The one moment that sticks out in my mind most is when I first got that 'omg im getting married' moment when I was in the limo and we were about to turn into where the chapel was. i just got chills and it was an amazing feeling
