I don't get seasick but I've heard some spots are better than others.

I get seasick. I took a cruise and used the patch- I was fine. I heard the best place to be is in the middle of the ship, on the lower floors where it is more stable.

On land!!!
OK... midship is best. Definitely get a balcony, if you can - so you can heave over board if necessary... HEHE. Seriously though, it will help just to be able to get some air!

Ok,thats good to know just in case. Is the patch a prescription or over the counter. We want to be prepared.

In the middle of the ship, on the lower floors. Make sure you have a window, most people think seeing the waves makes you more seasick, but it actually helps, because without a window, your body doesn't know why it feels unstable, but seeing the waves explains it. Does that make sense? I don't know, reading it, it seems silly, but it really works.

Do you ususally get seasick? If not, no matter where you are - you are probably not even going to feel the boat moving no less get sick. Take a dramine patch with you just in case.
Ive been in all parts (front/back/waydowndeep/up high) and I never feel a difference.
But they say that the middle all the way at the bottom is the best...but if you get one of those cabins you cant have a balcony or even a window so that ****s.

lowest level definitely!!
i had one cruise with no problems at all.
however, the last one was terrible. lots of rough seas!! i was ill.
the bracelets with the pressure points seemed to help a lot. i bought them on the ship but they are much cheaper if you buy them at a drugstore beforehand.
the ship personnel also told me NOT to lay down if i feel seasick. standing up & walking around is best.
good luck!

Thay all say the middle of the ship on a lower level, but my DH was worried about getting seasick so we stayed in the middle of the ship, but on a higher floor so we could have a balcony. (DH was FINE, I got a little seasick, but only rarely and nothing unmanagable! DH didn't even know!)

Definetly middle of the ship - on my cruise I felt the sway of the ship more on lower levels - we stayed on an upped level and it was fine.

I need a window- I don't think there are any ships that don't have at least a porthole on the outside cabins- people don't stay below water level, (except the crew). The patch is prescription, damamine makes me sooo tired.
