on a search for a DOG FRIENDLY hotel

hey gals..

my FH's family is coming for new years and they are... shall we say... extremely attached to their 2 small dogs? i need to find a dog-friendly hotel on LI in the Commack/EastNorthport/Huntington area... I have already called the following:

Hampton Inn Commack - no pets
Wyndham Wind Watch - sold out
Howard Johnson Commack - no answer (does this place even exist?)
Country Inn Huntington - no pets

OH YEAH-- and the hotel has to be cheap, too! ughhh help, anyone?!?!

My DH works for Sheraton and they just instituted a policy where they allow dogs @ the hotel. It may be all starwood hotels (W, Westin, etc) but we aren't sure- but we know Sheraton allows them for sure.
