FSIL is getting married in October and she is having a casual beach wedding. She just recently asked FH and I to be a particpate in the wedding (not part of the BP just to be in charge of the guest book & programs). However with that she has asked for us to be in a dress code (kind of coordinating with her colors). She asked for me to wear a green and white dress (nothing fancy)
The only dress that came to mind was this dress from VS that I have been eyeballing for the past few years still on their site. I do think the keyhole in the chest is a bit inappropiate though and it is kind of bare. This is just to get an idea for color. I need suggestions and if anyone can post pics for me. Anything would be so helpful!
hmm is it that strapless one? I think that might be not quite wedding appropriate....let me see what I can find

yes it is strapless I cant resize the pic- I was thinking maybe putting a shawl over it most likely I am throwing that idea out the window

i think it is a pretty dress but the spandex feel might make it look too casual.. more just right off the beach instead of beach wedding... have you tried it on yet?

you are right... i havent tried it on- I dont think i will be going with that dress just to get an idea more for the colors than anything else thanks

This might be too green and too formal for her wedding ( I dont think she wants me looking like the MOH) but let me know
The Ann Taylor dress is pretty--do you know how formal the BM/MOH dresses are? That might give you a good idea how formal you can go....it seems like green and white is tough to find! maybe in a month or so there will be more selection (closer to spring!)....

according to what I have heard it is casual (not allowed to know- everything is suppose to be a surprise ) ahhh the color combos are hard to find I may have to try my best to investigate what the MOH dress looks like- I asked a few weeks ago all I was told that it is green and plain
I love this dress... I've tried on a few of the celebrations dresses & they are very pretty! I think something like this would be very appropriate for a beach wedding & casual but dressy enough for a wedding...
funny that you posted that because I actually tried that dress on in another color for a wedding i have to attend this month and the dress looked soo nice on me (i wasnt in the mood to make the purchase though) i also saw it in green and loved it fh didnt like it but then again he is not wearing it
