If you want to ask a lot of questions... I'd say... an hour and a half... I have a list of like.. 30 questions but they answer them during the tour pretty much. and then you sit and talk numbers. I spent about an hour at the two venues I've been too.
Thanks that gives me a little bit of a better idea. I'll probably do two hours between appointments just in case plus traveling time,
Yes roughly an hour and a half. I only looked at 3 venues. 2 I wanted to look at and a 3rd just to compare prices. I knew if I didn't have a destination wedding where I wanted my reception. I did do 2 in one day though! It is possible to do 3 just schedule them wisely.. Like location and a lunch break in between!!! Good luck!!!
Hour to hour and a half... but make sure you see all the venues you can. Even if it takes 2 months, do it! Don't settle or look back saying 'I wish I saw that venue'
That's what I'm going to do. There are some that I know I'm really looking forward to and can't wait and some I'm just going for the heck of it. I believe that the one you don't really think may turn out to be the one.
I totally agree with the timing. And also about the not settling! Don't let them intimidate you to book, there will always be a date (unless you want a SPECIFIC date lol) but make sure you see what you want to so you have no regrets
Definitely be careful with scheduling them all to close together, I scheduled 4 in a row all an hour apart and then one of the venues took us in late and kept us longer and I missed an appointment at a venue I was really interested in, now I'm embarrassed to make another because I never called to apologize or anything :\
Take your time. We did the same thing since my fiance works all week and on the weekends. Keep in mind they ARE open fairly late. The longest amount of time we spent was an hour and a half...the shortest amount of time we spent was SIX MINUTES!!
