On average how much is it to rent a tuxedo??

On average how much is it to rent a tuxedo??

My FI and I have an appointment this weekend at a Tuxedo Place and I just want to get an idea before we go. AND what is and isn't usually included in the price?? (shoes, etc.)

Our GM's tuxs are coming out to $140 each..a.nd that includes everything: tux, shirt, tie, vest, shoes and cufflinks. FH has been in bridal parties recently and the cost ranged from $120-$160.

Our are $140 - they were originally $180 but the lady discounted them (dunno why)

Ours were $119 and included everything but socks and shoes. The shoes were $20 to rent, but DH just told the guys to wear black dress shoes.

At After HOurs, ours are $110 to $120 for everything including shoes

Our were $175...they're really awesome material though. That price includes shirt, tie, vest, jacket, pants, shoes, and cuff links.

ours are 150 including everything (socks and shoes too) the men got 20 off and the grooms tux was free, just not other items which were 40

Oh my god, my FH paid $95 and $125 for two weddings that he was just in this year.

The one's FH picked were $170 because he chose the cooler light weave jackets and shirts since we are getting married in July.

The regular weave would have been about $145

Ours is $140 (includes tax) and that is for everything but the socks.
FH will be free.

I'm really excited about this, but we're only paying 59.99 per tux (so about $70 with tax). That includes everything head to toe including new socks and the shoes. The GM just need to bring their own underwear. All the tuxes are in great condition and I can pick from a ton of options from the vest/tie to the tux style and designer.

I love finding random bargains.

on avg. i think they start around 120...some go higher..i think it depends largely on the size of the shop/# of locations, etc...

i think (from our experience) smaller shops tend to cost more b/c they don't have a large volume or other locations to build off of.
