#1 - it's a great cut...I'm actually growing that cut out - but it was really easy to maintain (esp with the right products). Keep us updated!!!

My opinion, as someone who has had both cuts...is to go with #1 - if you like it and have fun with it, you could always cut it to #2. I found that once I cut my hair, I kept wanting to cut it shorter and shorter. And despite what people say about shorter hair being easier to maintain - while in essence it is - those haircuts take a lot of product and a GOOD cut to make them look the way they do in those pics. You could wind up spending a lot of time on a short cut to get it to look 'just right'...or maybe I'm more anal than I think?! ![]()

I agree with cp0329 - they are both nice but I would go with #1 first then if you still want a shorter cut then try #2.
