I did not cheat, nor would I, that is not the kind of person i am.
But i do know some who did, not necessarily on this board who wouldnt DARE every say it out loud or type it.
Ladies, what do you think?

If I did (Not that i ever would) I dont think id post it...maybe id tell someone thew FM if it was someone i grew a bond with! (and theres only 1 person on here id prob even trust this with other than my MOH!) But ive seen in the past that ppl have posted and other ppl in their life either got word of the post and saw it 1st hand or who knows what if FH has his own name or a friend on here that showed him!? You just never know. Id hate for him to find out that I was unfaithful!

of course they wouldn't post here that they cheated on their current FI. This is why someone might answer the poll anonymously but won't actually write the word 'I cheated' next to their username for the world to see.
That poll is pointless if you ask me

If you're willing to cheat, you're probably also willing to lie, so it wouldn't surprise me.
Others might not want to say it on a public forum for various reasons, and I can't say I blame them.
I haven't ever cheated and really can't fathom it... so I have no idea what I'd do personally.

never cheated before on any of my past ex's w/o making it clear to them that the relationship was over. (whether they accepted it or not was their prob).
i won't ever cheat on fh so not possible that i'd post on board. just not that kind of person.
i do admire those who would post on the forum though - gotta have a lot of courage to fess up to yourself first!

That thought crossed my mind, too. I can say that I certainly wouldn't post about it like that on the internet b/c you can hurt / embarass so many people...

I'm actually surprised so many girls cheat so close to their wedding date and then debate about telling their DH's. I wouldn't cheat nor have I, but I can't believe some of these girls, I'm sorry.

Sorry to post this, but its only my opinion, As far as the cheating topic, I can't believe that its a discussion on this site. Why get married if you are so insecure about yourself, that you would go out and cheat. SO BASICALLY WHAT IM TRYING TO SAY IS, IF YOU THINK OR HAVE CHEATING ON YOUR DH. THEN MARRIAGE IS NOT FOR YOU. sry its only my opinion, have more too say but dont want too hurt anyones feelings.

I think most importantly. you should go and tell FH or DH and i would NEVER extend it to family or friends.
Guess what... they WILL hold it against you whether FH/DH forgave you or not!

I agree...one of my friends kissed someone on her bp after getting completely toasted-but it was more of a sloppy drunk possibly not on purpose? She didn't tell her DH, bc she prob didn't even remember...was it cheating? technically- did it matter, certainly not. I'm not saying I would ever cheat on FH- I love him too much, and I certainly would never post about it online- but each sitaution is different.

Hmmm! The 'cheating' post obviously made a lot of us think. I think that when we post our 'dirty laundry' in general, that was are leaving ourselves to being vulnerable and possibly praised or criticized. But I guess that it a chance that some are willing to take.
