Okay by no means am i a pill popper but i am def. on the nervous side someone told on the day of in the limo pop a zanax.. to calm me i would be afraid i may passout ..

OMG that is hilarious. I have 4 xanex from when i was going on a plane to florida (i didnt need them, first flight) and i have completely thought about taking them. I might take one one night before the wedding and see how it makes me feel and have it with me. Knowing I have it if i need it might relax me on its own like with the plane. Thats funny that someone else is thinking this. I really doubt I would take it though.

well, i certainly would try it out (not condoning drug use) PRIOR to the big day b/c you could be sensitive and space out and not be coherent or even recall your wedding day!!!!

That's funny... I'm worried about not being able to sleep the night before! The night before my e-party, I was up from 3am on....... I do NOT want to be tired on my wedding day. I'm allergic to anything with 'PM' in it, so I'm screwed.
Whatever I decide to do, I am going to try it out first well before my wedding day. Not 'trying' anything on the BIG DAY, and I suggest you do the same!

I keep joking to everyone that I am going to have Xanax Mimosas for me and my mother on the morning of my wedding. I am like 85% seriously considering doing this. I get way too stressed out and my mother drives me up a wall and I am getting ready at my parents house. I need to have something to relax...

If don't normally take pills, you shouldn't take them on your wedding day. You have no idea how they could effect you and you may end up forgetting your whole day or passed out.
If you are that worried, go to a doctor and ask for a solution. Don't take prescription meds if you aren't used to them.

HELLLOOOOO???!!! Don't we all remember the bride in 16 Candles?! LOL...personally, I think if you feel you might need something a little stronger than a vodka tonic, I would give it a test run way before your wedding. Also, maybe not a xanax but valium. Ask your MD.

ok, Im a panic attack waiting to happen. I was MOH at my best friends wedding in September. I was so nervous about standing up front of everyone, i took a xanax an hour before the ceremony. The whole reception I had the WORST headache ever. I would try it out before the day of and see how it makes you feel.

OMG Iam so glad you ladies responded to this I think that my mother is so going to make me crazy even now she does maybe if i gave her one i would not have to take one. And yes I remember 16 candles your funny but how hot was the guy at the end with Molly Ringworm or whatever her name was.. Okay Valiums for 'PLAN B' sounds good

well just a word of advice -- IF you take a xanax--DO NOT and i mean DO NOT drink any alcohol. if you do--well let's just say that it will not be pretty.
i think having a glass of wine, a beer, or a little champagne is enuff to relax you for the big day. if you take a xanax--and later on start to drink--well you can easily spaz out or even black out

I wouldn't advise any drug being taken on your wedding day however 1 glass of wine should do the trick
You'd be surprised how calm most brides are on their wedding day, I was one of them.
