So i haven't been on this chat for a while now because I thought We were all settled on a destination wedding in Punta Cana. I had a date a place and was moments away from booking when family decided to step in and put their two cents in..... 'its so far' , 'its so expensive', Its this its that yada yada!! I still wanted to go away regardless of who came and who didn't but My FH feels like I will regret not having my family around and insists on doing something local. fine..... So here we are again.......except now we want something extra small 50-60 ppl and $10,000 or less. is this realistic? Where can i find a venue like this? I really don't want to go through this process of again. We have looked at so many places!! I just want my destination wedding!!! Do any of you guys know of any venues i can look into?? Help please
also, maybe u can look into doing a private room @ a restaurant in case places dont want to budge on minimums?? hth

Try Westbury Manor & Coral House (they have small minimums)
I think also Jericho Terrace
In Queens Douglaston Manor has a package (not sure of the price)
Also Ariana Waterfall has a package for almost everything.

Leonard's of Great Neck too. My friend has a Saturday night in November for $65 per person.

Windows on the Lake would be GREAT! Also try The Metropolitan.
Someone suggested Jericho Terrace but you need a minimum of about 100 people for their small room.
Why not do a DW and then come home and have a small party at a resturant?

How about the Irish Coffee Pub? I've been there for parties and seen small weddings going on. I believe its in Islip? Good luck!

Check out The Watermill, and yes it's definately doable - you just have to be careful what things you spend and try not to splurge too much on things :)

Try Old Field Club, they are flexible and accommodating, if it's during the day or off season they may be able to work with you on a smaller number. Their Sunday minimum is 100..
