DH & I are traveling to California & Lake Tahoe in a few weeks for a family reunion. Since it is around the time of our first anniversary, we are taking a baja mexican cruise to celebrate!
Is it worth mentioning to the cruise company that it is our anniversary? I mean, the trip is booked already but will they do or throw in anything special? Or is it a waste?
Just curious...

Couldn't hurt to mention it!! I would, maybe they'll do something nice in your cabin or give you a free dinner.

i would DEF tell them.
i dont know what you would get - but i know a guy who pretends every trip is his HM and sometimes he gets accomodations and other times he doesnt.

Kelly, wouldn't hurt to mention it, although not sure they'll do anything....think of all the HM, anniversary, birthdays, reunions, etc. on every cruise.

You should definitely mention it. We told the hotel we stayed at for our 1 year anniv and when we got our room there were fresh chocolate covered strawberries with 'Happy 1st Anniversary' written on the plate!

I would tell them! usually they will put something outside your stateroom. On our HM, we told them & got some fresh fruit & champagne brought to our stateroom the first night!

I think we are taking that same cruise in December. Please tell me what you guys did on your excursions. And I would mention that it is your anniversary. What have you got to loose!
