on the topic of tipping - Hair/makeup

I was just looking at one of the threads posted and someone posted a list and in it it said that if the makeup/hair person comes to your house - you dont have to tip

What did you or are you doing?

how much are you going to tip if you are?

im all about tipping for a service but we are already getting charged a fortune to have these people come to our homes.. so curious to see what you are all doing and how much to give

Hmmm... that's interesting. My girl is coming to The Swan Club (where we are getting ready) and I will definitely be tipping her! Although... my situation isn't really the norm only b/c her prices are so low anyway, it's nothing to give her a little extra. I do feel like they should be tipped though but thats JMO.

like i said i dont mind tipping but what do you give

15% 20% or just a random amount of money?

i gave a little extra but if you are not going to a salon then the person gets what you give them - they are not sharing it with the owner

in other words, they charge what they think they are worth, right??
yes, i did tip but not OVERLY
