On this Day of Remembrance 9/11

What are you greatful for?

I am greatful to be alive. I work 15 mins away from the WTC now and even 9 ywars later its just surreal. I am greatful to all of the love and support in my life. My family and friends. And I'm greatful that I didn't lose my brother 9yrs ago that he wasn't in his office in the North Tower when the planes hit.

This is a wonderful topic- its definalty a day we should reflect on the things we're grateful for.

As for me, I'm grateful for: my family, DH, my health, my job, a place to live, my family's health.

I am grateful for my friends and family and FH.

I wasn't even in NYC at the time (was away at school) but it still haunts me. I now work 4 blocks away from the site...

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who lost someone on the terrible day.

I am grateful for my FH, family, friends, health, and all of those things that I probably take for granted and shouldn't.

This is a great topic. We need to remember what we have and be thankful for it.

I am grateful for all the freedoms we have and that my FH, family and friends are alive and healthy.

Keeping the families of those who we lost in my thoughts today.

I am grateful for my dad and 3 my uncles who by chance weren't there that day.. (dad worked on 59th floor, tower 2 and was on a business trip in chicago, and my 3 uncles were cops and firemen who only worked night shifts and went home before all this happened).

thankful for being alive and for having my close friends and family still here.

I was working on Wall Street and saw the smoke coming out when the 1st plane hit. I went into work and then when the towers crashed, my entire firm was told to wait in the basement (now that I think about it, that was the stupidest advice I ever listened to). After the area was cleared for evacuation, I walked 40 blocks north to the only subway line that was operational and got out of Manhattan.

I just can't believe it's been 9 years since then.
