On your invitation

did you use the spelling

favor or favour

and is it declines with regret or declines with regrets?

Re: On your invitation

I used honour and favour which is the old english spelling & considered by some as more formal- but its really all what you like & your choice.

I think I had declines with regret.

Re: On your invitation

I didn't use the word favor, but we used honor, but spelled it honour (i think that's how it was spelled).
For the response part, I put 'decline with regret'

Re: On your invitation

I used honour on the invitation and favor on the reply card and unable to attend.

Re: On your invitation

We used 'favour' and 'honour'

It should read 'declines with regret'.

That's perfectly fine. We didn't use that wording but my FSIL did and it sounds really nice.

Will dance the night away

I wanted to change it up a bit

Re: On your invitation

I am going to use honor and favor.

And after reading this thread, I decided to do this for the rsvp card:

___ Gladly Accepts

___ Regretfully Declines

Re: On your invitation

We used favour and declines with regret.
