once again i need your advice please!!!

OK so i work at a small office, only 6 people. I was going to invite only 4 of them(cause the other two are new and i dont even know them) but as time is getting closer once of the other people i had planned to invite cant come. so that leaves 2 empty spaces at to 'work people' table.... so i was thinking 'great, now i can invite them' but my problem is I CANT stand of of the 2 girls boyfriend! like hes a total jerkhe even was hitting on me at the company x-mas party!) So i dont know what to do now.... there willl not be enough room at the table for all of them if they bring a date and if i let them bring there dates then 1 couple will be azzed out to a table of strangers... Sooooooooo i was just not going to invite them with a guest and if they dont like what can i do? or should i just stick to my org plan of not inviting them at all.... or should i let them bring there dates and suffer through that Jerk and 1 couple will have to sit alone......sorry so long
and TIA

Maybe explain to the two girls that you are really tight with budget (even if it's not true) and want to invite them but you can't invite them with a guest and you hope they're not offended. They'll either be fine with it and show up or be offended and not come.

Many wedding do not invite co-workers with guests but if your other co-workers are invited with guests it may look strange.

I would explain that you did not have them in your original count b/c they were new but you have 2 seats left at a table and want them there..it's their choice if they do not want to come without their boyfriends

dont feel like you need to invite them. once you get to arranging seating, you might see that tables you had worked out fitting perfectly in your head now have to be all rearranged because of some unexpected no's and extra guests, etc. once you get closer to the big day. if you have extra room at your work table, no biggie- just stick some random cousins or friends or something there.
