We have one 11 yr old coming to our wedding. He is the youngest of 5 boys of my family's closest friends. He is basically like a little brother.
At the wedding he will be either hanging on his parents or hanging on his much older brothers.
Should I let him bring a friend so he has a buddy to sit with and to hang out with?
What do you think?

i would just sit him with his brothers. No friend - that could be trouble!

At my brother's wedding, there was one 12 year old girl -- I think she's a third cousin -- my grandmother's brother's granddaughter -- She was fine by herself. But she was a very outgoing kid, and was dancing with adults all night. She took a liking to me and it was a little annoying to be honest because she at times was my shadow, but she had a blast! I wouldn't stress about it.

just let him be with his brothers--no need for a friend. two 11 year olds could equal a lot of trouble!
we had just one 4 year old at our wedding--and she was fine with her parents. no worries!

Just let him be with his brothers--if he brings a friend, it could cause trouble I am sure he will bring a video game to be occupied

Thanks! So i should sit him with his brothers then? He would be at a table with people ranging from 23 to 30. Do you think they would get annoyed?
