Went to the Inn At Fox Hollow Bridal Brunch today (food was so good) and blocked rooms. We got our room upgraded the night of, a free night the night before, and a cute little goodie bag with an expresso mug, travel mug, biscotti, stuffed fox, and a lunch bag!!
It was a good price for the blocks there as well, a little pricey, so we may do some elsewhere, but still a fairly good deal!

What type of price did you get for the rooms if you dont mind me asking? That was one of the places I was thinking about blocking rooms.... Also, is your reception there too? TIA!
Do you think its benifical that FH and I go to the next one in May?

I think so, you get a tour of the place, they show you the different rooms, and there are some incentives, like we got an upgrade for the night of our wedding to the Royal room and a free night the night before the wedding for booking at the brunch. but I would call to see if they are blocking for 2011 yet

The rooms there are beautiful. My cousin got married there. I couldn't afford the room but my mom got one and loved it.

is 169 to much when 4 people can stay in the room? The other block we are looking at is 139, but its further away

Congrats! I am most stressed about the hotel situation as most of my family will want to stay overnight and FH and I live in NJ and will want to stay on LI the night before AND NOT at his parents house....i am getting married in port washington..has anyone heard of any hotels near that area that offer a free shuttle for guests if you book a block of rooms there? Also are you and FH staying at the same hotel as your guests??
