Ok so, I want to put either adult reception to follow or add an age limit. But where would I write these? would I put it on the main page on my invite after where the says the name of the church just squeeze in 'adult reception to follow' because I feel like if I put it on the reception card people are going to miss it. I mean who really reads every word on the reception card, I don't, I just usually keep the directions card and chuck the rest. Also if I choose to put an age limit how would I word it??

Ok this was a huge issue between my dad and I. Heres the thing, my father was like 'your not putting an age limit that looks tacky yada yada....' and I agree to an extent buttttt the only reason why I was considering it was because there are definitely some people who are, out to lunch I guess, and would consider their 15, 16 or whatever year olds as being 'children' I just don't want them to think that they can't bring their teenager. Idk, I guess I should just put adult reception and if people wanna be stupid about it and interpret it their own way then too bad for them.

It would be up to you to determine who and how many are invited.

can u have your parents call and tell them its ok.. im sure there will be some sort of communication btwn you and your guests once they receive the invites... or even before.and explain to them..by adult u mean anyone over the age of ___

i would write 'Adult reception to follow' on the invitation and address the invitations themselves to 'Mr and Mrs Parents, and Kids' so that they understand that their kids ARE invited

I wrote Adult Reception to follow on my reception card. I guess I can see why you'd want to put an age, but I wouldn't do that. My age is 18 and if anyone questions it I'll just let them know.

Yea thats true, I guess we'll have to do that if there's anyone misinterpreting it.
