Has anyone used just one person for the DJ and MC? We are looking for something sort of low-key, with just a few annoucements, but I want to hear your opinions on two people vs. just one..

that is what we are planning on doing. I don't like a whole lot of announcements and I don't really need someone on the floor to 'get the party started' - I feel our guests will have no problem doing that themselves LOL. Plus we are not planning on doing the bouquet and garter toss so we won't even need an announcer for that.

Def try FM Entertainment, they are def more low key than other dj's.... if you dont need an MC to energize the crowd then u will be fine w/ just a dj.... it is up to you..

I forgot to post this before...
LI Sound has an option for DJ/MC combo and it's significantly less than having 1 DJ and 1 MC.
