ONE MONTH BEFORE THE WEDDING AND I BOUGHT A NEW GOWN!

I went to Phylis today for my first fitting. Well, where the straps to the old dress fell is where I had my surgery. I had a feeling this was going to happen. So the dress was no good for me. I tried on two dresses and fell in love with my new dress. It's a DaVinci. I love it so much more than the old one. Phylis is hanging on to the Mori Lee in case anyone is looking for a halter dress. She will sell it to them. So here is a pic of my old dress and a pic of my new dress.

My new dress has spaghetti straps. Phylis is going to lift the train so that it is very small and still make a bustle. She is also going to make a wrap that attaches to the dress. It looks awesome. I am really broad in the shoulders and hips. I'm built exactly like my father who is built like a linebacker What I liked is that it was a little more flattering in the hips area.

**I have to give a to Phylis. I don't think she saw my eyes welling up and she still did everything she possibly could to help me. Her concern was that I was happy. She is phenominal at what she does!

I like them both, glad to hear she did right by you. She sounds like an absolute doll!!!!! I really should bring my dress to her and get a quote for alterations.

Nic that new dress is so pretty!!! i went there today to for my 1st fitting and i just love that woman!!! thanks sooo much for telling me to go to her and im glad you found a dress you love and feels confortable on you!!!ahhh so excited for you

wow....Phylis is awesome! You're in good hands. I didn't use her but from what I hear...she can do anything. both those dresses are awesome. Your're going to be amazingly gorgeous. Only one month till your BIG day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Nic! I love both dresses!

(of course I'm a little partial to the Mori Lee but I'm so glad you were able to find something that wouldn't cause you problems from the surgery!!!!)

I love your new dress. Its gorgeous. Phyliss is great. I was there on Sunday to order my BM dresses and she was so nice.

congrats Nic!!! I'm glad Phyllis is pulling through for you....I'm so glad we ordered our dresses through her!! She really seems great!!! I loved your Mori Lee dress, but I have to say I LOVE the new one too!!!

It's so funny my dress is Mori Lee, but my runner up (the sash dress) was a Davinci....I guess we like the same designers!!
