One more invite ?

One more invite ?

I keep going back and forth with putting the FHs parents on the invite. They aren't involved in planning or anything. I was going to do it just because but I keep second guessing it
How many of you are have your FH parents names on the invite ??
Mine was going to say
Mr and Mrs John Doe request the honour of your presence at the wedding of their duaghter
Anne Marie
to
John William Matthew Doe

Or John William Matthew
Son of
Me and Mrs William Doe

My parents are divorced, my mom is paying the majority of our wedding, my father contributed , FH father didn't contribute and isn't involved with planning but I love him, FH Mom is deceased and he just doesn't understand the wedding stuff so we put together with our families..To me it wasn't about the money it was about our family and honoring them all.

We are putting 'together with their families.' Our parents contributed some but we figured this way includes everyone without singling anyone out or excluding anyone.

I wanted to include my FH parents on the invitation but i was told by his step mom that it didnt matter. My mom is paying for everything. Now, i feel like i should have put his parents, ahhhh. I hope NOT having his parents on the invite doesn't cause any drama

We are putting everyone's names because everyone contributed in some way... I'm putting our names first and then writing together with our parents and listing their names.

His parents are helping too! But because my parents are paying for reception, FH felt it was right to put it this way.

His parents aren't helping at all but we put them on just to be traditional and nice! I thought that it would be weird not to mention them.

We are paying for the wedding ourselves but put both of our parents on the invitation. I just like the traditional look of it.

We have both parents on it. I didn't think it was right to recognize one set of parents over another considering it's both children that are getting married. Money shouldn't be a determining factor, just my opinion.

this is how i feel. in this day and age it's a lot different. everyone is contributing in some way and both of our parents do so much for us in many ways outside of the wedding as well.

we put my parents, then his, invite you to the marriage of their children yada yada yada lol.
