One more petal cone question! With POLL!!

One more petal cone question! With POLL!!

I'm not sure my family or FH's have ever seen petal cones before. Is it better to have my hall place one cone on every other seat, or should I just put the cones in a basket and expect people to take them for themselves.

I would say to have a basket - and make someone hand them out - I think ppl will take it - and then once they open it I think they will know it is to be trown to you

Should I designate someone in my BP to do it, or can someone at the hall do it (bridal attendant maybe?)

I am either going to have my DOC hand them out or have one of the ushers take care of it.

DH's 8 year old cousins handed them out. I def would have someone handing them out.

I would have someone handing them out. Maybe someone you did not include in your BP, but are somewhat close with?

This is what we are doing-I know people will have questions as to what they are for. I really want to make sure they are used because I want those petal pictures!

I always read about petel cones here, I think I get what they are, but I'm not really that sure. So can somebody explain> Anybody have a pic? Thanks

Me too! I really want those pics. I think we'll ask FH's 9 year old cousin to stand at the front of the ceremony room and hand out the cones.

Just make sure she isn't shy-you need someone who can articulate what they are for. My friend had her 8 year old cousin in charge of giving out bubbles at her ceremony and she hardly gave any out.

They are rose petals in a cone shaped paper holder. Guests 'toss' the petals at you during the recessional or in front of the church, etc.

I think this is what we are going to do. FH has a few young cousins that are not in the wedding party. I'm thinking of having them hand them out to make them feel involved.
