The girls told me it would be TOO difficult for them to try to surprise me so they TOLD me the date - THEN TOLD me WHO was rsvp'ing
THE ONLY SURPRISE I HAD WAS THAT I DIDN'T KNOW WHERE IT WAS!!!! That was the concession to telling me when it was.
Well today one of my STUPID BM's TOLD me today WHERE MY SHOWER IS - she CLAIMS she slipped but NO ONE believes her - she has been pulling underhanded things on and off for a while now.
I am SOOOOOO upset it was the ONLY surprise that I had.

That is okay. You will still have a wonderful time. Try not to be sad about it. I figured mine out and still had a great time.

i knew where my shower was and figured out when and i had a good time anyway. you will still be surprised about the gifts and just have the overall day goes. so enjoy!!!

I understand what you are saying but this girl has told me the DATE of the shower, then WHO was or WASN'T coming to the shower NOW WHERE it is!!!!! - The girls don't think these were slips (AND FH agrees because of all the problems) they think she purposefully told them.

you can't really tell if they slipped or not! i had a few people say things and i put 2 and 2 toghther and then on the day i told my mom i was running late and she flipped out.. let's just say i ran to the computer and i checked my regestries and said nah it couldn't be... well it was and i was still surprized when i went in! so hey ya never know they could be saying this to throw you off!!! they got me and they got me good!

I would say that Janet IF we were talking about any other girl - Ask PrincessRose she will know - SHE cam over to me and said the shower is Feb 28th!!!! THAT is NO slip - she was SPECIFICALLY TOLD NOT to discuss the guest list OR any details of the shower with me and she called to me ask why the list was SO short and who else needed to be invited - This girl IS KNOWN to PURPOSEFULLY do this - that is HOW I KNOW it is NOT a slip. - Plus after she told me she sat there on the phone giggling opps oh well what is the big deal - sorry but I have to run

Try not to be too upset about it - I understand your frustration w/ this one particular BM - who it seems, has been a major source of stress for you. - Unfortunately, there's one in every group- and she's going to alienate herself from the rest of the BMs - don't let it ruin your day. Someone usually slips and the bride ends up finding out . - I KNOW she didn't 'SLIP' which is a spiteful thing to do to you - But you will have a wonderful day - DO NOT let this person ruin your engagement/wedding- it seems like that's her plan.

This girl obviously dosn't think she did anything wrong and is a ding dong. My FMIL is doing the same thing with me. She goes oh I found a nice place for your shower.. Oh when you go to look for invites I am comming so that I can look for Shower favors, Oh Jo the change in the jar over there if for you shower. Well I didnt want to be a bit*h about it but tonight I had it and am saying something to FH to say to her. She needs to back OFF. Little does she know my sister has everything booked already and has had the favors picked out since before we got engaged.
Just tell this girl that you are PO'd about everything and do not appericate her telling you everything. I dont understand why she would be so nasty and ruin it for you. Just go and enjoy yourself at the shower. Just think now you know where it is and can pick out something to wear that is approiate for the place

I'm sorry you are sooooo upset & can understand why. I on the other hand didn't want a surprise. I knew when (I had to plan a weekend away) & where (my house), who was invited & the RSVP's. I knew it was in my backyard just didn't know the decor, food details etc. I still had an AWESOME time & so will you!!!!!!!

Don't let it get to you. Could that be why she let it slip, to get you worked up? I too would be upset, who wouldn;t but the end result needs to be you having an awesome time with tons of family and friends, opening gifts and having a ball....who cares in the end where or when, remember that when you start getting heated...in a few days the initial anger will pass, keep your chin up, it's going to be so much fun!

Unfortunately we have all learned recently that she is a DRAMA queen and LOVES to do ANYTHING it takes to get some sort of attention good or bad.
Yeah the BM I spoke to last night has had it with her - it was just another thing in a LONG line of problems -
