FHs step sister backed out! She already ordered her dress and it is in....Will I get stuck paying for it or will she just be out her deposit and the place will keep the dress?????

the store may or may not keep it...some stores will make you pick it up and pay for it...i would make the BM do it! that stinks..im sorry hun!

Yikes, I'm not sure. I don't think you'll be held responsible for the balance, but maybe (just to be safe) don't tell the place about her backing out until everyone else picks up their dress.
Such nerve for backing out now!

Just wanted to add I would do the same thing you are doing. Let her handle it. Don't even let the store know you exist! The dress was and is her problem, not yours.

Ugh, I feel you.... I have a feeling FH's one sister is going to drop out. She is completey M-I-A and hasn't ordered her dress or anything.

Oh no I am so sorry. I would def make her pay for it if the store wants their money. That is way too close to the wedding to be backing out.

One of my girls dropped out too (Drama Drama Drama)
My MOH called the Bridal Suite who said that each girl signed their own contract so the Bride is at no way responsible to pay for the dress. I would call the place where they ordered the dress and find out, but I am pretty sure most places are like that.
My X-BM has until 2 weeks before (I think) to pay or it will go into collections.
