So Brooke is out....literally Brooke Campbell is a PORN STAR with her very own website with that name....I e-mailed Scott and told him NO WAY am I even considering naming my child with a PORN STAR name....

I did a search for the girl's name on google.com I wanted to make sure NO porn stars....Scott said that he would have still wanted to name a girl Brooke if she had been a really hot porn star or a really successful one...men!

LOL!! After we agreed on 'Sean Michael' for a boy, I found out he was a wrestler!! I believe he spells it Shawn. It still beats 'Sarah Lee' for a !

LOL - this happened to one of my friends when she took her hubby's last name, she has the same name as a porn star, website and all. I know with Luke's name - Luke John - I cant tell you how many times people have said 'what are you naming the next one Matthew Mark?' LOL Too bad, Brooke Campbell sounds pretty. But Campbell's a cool last name, lots of names will go with it. What happened to Emory?

Michele I vote for Emory for a girls name - I loved that name and it has so much meaning.
I am going with Amelia Jane, Amelia May or Amelia Margaret. Finally narrowing things down a bit!!!

Emory is still front runner and 99% will be the baby's name if a girl. But we do have back-ups just in case (if girl) comes out and I say 'It doesn't look like an Emory' Emory Campbell was a civil rights activists. An old black man. Michelle- I wouldn't have even thought to look to see if my chosen name was that of anyone famous. GOod thinking! Too bad about Brooke, but I have to say I absolutely love Emory. I don't think I knew you were considering it. It is very elegant and strong sounding.

I love the name Brooke though... I would love to name a girl that... If you LOVE the name Im sure many people wont notice- I say go for it. If I have a boy ( not preg now) in the future I will probably name him bryan john jr- after his father- aka B.J.

I'm over here, because if I had my way, and I had a girl, her name would be Raven Jade, a name which unfortunately evokes porn star images in everyone who hears it, and I don't care! Patrick won't even entertain the thought though.
I think Brooke Campbell sounds terrific, and I wouldn't give a hoot who else had the name if I liked it.
