White House - Black Market!! LOVE - LOVE - LOVE that store!! So glad there is another one on LI than im Woodbury!! It's just behind Cheesecake Factory. I stopped in there yesterday -- and the girl said they've been open a month now!!

Yup!
I haven't been in there yet- but one of the perks of my job is that I get to see where and when all the new retail stores on the island are opening up
(I work as an estimator for an Electrical Contractor)
I actually estimated that job and we did the electrical work there!
We just got a huge set of plans in for the new Tanger Outlet Center on Commack Road too

Its in the new outdoor promenade...right by the cheesecake factory.
There will also be a barnes and nobles, ****'s sporting goods and another restaurant out there soon!

It's literally right behind Cheesecake. There is also now Coldwater Creek, and a Chico's there on the outside promenade. I would say if you were in the mall and went down the JCPenney's wing you could get to the outside entrance that way too. Just so excited -- I love that store -- they always have great dresses!

what tanger's on commack rd? near where? the LIE or 25? (my mom lives VERY close to there, ans I visit her constantly... that would be sooo convenient!!!!)

Closer to the LIE I believe. Its gonna be awhile. We got preliminary drawings...just of the parking lots and main buildings. I'll let you know when we start getting drawings for the individual stores I'm excited...its gonna be somewhere close to where I work!

my long island is changing!!! man, it sounds like if i were to come back i wouldn't recognize anything!! an outdoor promenade at the smith haven mall?!?!?! that's just crazy. and a tanger in commack?! i miss l.i. tucson has NOTHING. seriously, there are NO outlet malls. we do have a WH/BM by my house though - there's a plus!

all the clothes are black and white, and they sometimes carry khaki and gray!! but anything you can think of in solid black and white, or patterns. you can always find something im there!! they shave some denim too!!

The first time I saw WH-BM I was in Florida I think -- only to come home and find the only one was in Woodbury and a few in NYC. Now there's one close by
