So I wrote about this in another post, and I am grateful to get gifts but these are definitely the strangest gifts I've ever gotten, especially for a wedding.
FH's four cousins (from New Mexico and Georgia), three of which are coming to wedding sent us Kaleidoscopes. Two of them, just in case one wasn't enough. One is a normal wooden one and one is in the shape of a baseball.
Yep.
We are sure this is the only gift (one of these cousins wrote a poem as a gift for FH's brother's Bar Mitzvah).
I would understand if they can't afford much but the strange thing is, we don't think these were cheap!
So if anyone ever wants to borrow a kaleidoscope, you know who to ask.

We are trying not to be mean but we also had to stand in line at P.O. to pick up this box because it required a signature.
Its funny, they are pretty religious so FH expected them to send a Menorah or a Mezzuzah, at least those would have gotten use!!!!

In some ways, getting a lighthouse phone at your shower is worse because there you have to act like you like it! Whereas we got home and b*tched and then fell on the floor laughing.

my mother warned me that people would buy bizzare gifts and i didn't believe her......until now!! Thats really funny
