absolutely not, i've been like that for about a week now. it's slight depression. honestly do something for yourself, that's what i do. get your nails done, get your hair highlighted. buy something - new makeup usually works.

i feel ya totally on this one. just hang in there!

got a mani-pedi yesterday and bought FH and brand new laptop. I thought seeing him extactic would help me. he needed it for school (going back for his second masters) and he was using mine (hated that all the time).

i think i need to take a long vacation, alone ....

hmm but i do like the idea of a haircut and maybe highlights

oh wow you just described how i felt yesterday, along with hating the way i was looking and a bunch of other stuff. Aunt flo just came so that doesn't help with my emotions

but im sorry you're feeling like this...You need to do something for yourself this week...get a message, mani & pedi or whatever makes you happy...just get away and clear your mind...feel better

Cheer up hun! It true, try to get some sunlight. I hear that a little bit everyday can change your mood. Go get a massage too; it'll take your mind off of everything and relax you. Maybe its just a lot of stress building up. Remember, we're here for you

I hear you... Just want to be alone, need to think - about EVERYTHING... That's when I get a good book and just tune out. Don't make the mistake of telling your FH you want to take a vacation alone. I did and whoops! He was hurt.

It will be OK. Everyone gets in a funk when you're just sad...

the book is a great idea...i felt so blah yesterday and was stressed out and overthinking things...I laid in bed and decided to finish the book i was reading...it really helped, i didnt focus on my problems or what i was feeling, i was so into the book and what was going on...plus it was nice to just lay down, relax and not be bothered by anything else

Re: one of those days

you're definitely not alone sweetie!! I feel like that every 2nd week of the month - so I've concluded it's all hormone-related

try to distract yourself with something you actually enjoy - read a book, magazine, something to keep your mind away from depressing thoughts

hope you feel better!!!

Hi Karin!

You perfectly described my feelings this week -- I would like to go hang out in a cave somewhere where no one knows where I am and FH and my parents will leave me alone about the wedding and the move. Plus, I just don't want to be at work -- I want to be home in my bed in comfy clothes watching Oprah and eating ice cream.

I feel you FM me if you need to talk!

LOVES!

Re: one of those days

Sometimes we just need to get away from everything and be alone for a while. Take a drive to the beach and sit on the boardwalk and just look at the waves crashing. It's such a calming feeling. YOu forgot you problems for a second but you also clear your head to be able to think straighter.

Not to worry- we all go through this. It's just at the time there seems to be no turns in the road.

Re: one of those days

I felt like this all last week, I was super stressing over money and wedding and having no clothes and no friends, besides for the normal hating my job deal that goes on every day.. Buut I decided to get the hell out of bed, buy a new outfit (FH was kind enough to gimme some cash), consolidate my debt, and then spend the rest of my weekend cleaning and reorganizing.. Its amazing how good it feels to just purge out useless crap and reorganize yourself. Today I feel pretty good.. Hang in there.. youll feel better.

Re: one of those days

great points girls ... im already feeling better.

i think ill take that drive tonight, and clean out my closets tomorrow after work. Who knows, maybe ill take a trip to the mall this weekend and repair the holes in my closets that I make tommorrow

ugh ... i need a sound proof booth for screaming, ice cream for eating (ugh diets ) a punching bag (instead of FH ) and a weekend getaway - alone!

thanks again girls ... this too like everything else, will pass - i just wish it would pass sooner rather than later
