One or 2 Dresses?

One or 2 Dresses?

Has anyone thought about changing their dress from the ceremony to the reception?

As of now, I am going to wear the one dress for the entire day..but it's definitely an interesting idea to spruce up the day.

I've given this some thought because I always wanted the 'princess' look big poofy ball gown but it wouldn't be comfy to stay in the all day so I figure if I do go with the princess gown I might need a reception gown too.. it also depends on how im doing $ wise!

I'm not even considering a separate dress for the reception, however, I'm havning a day wedding and that leaves a lot of time to regroup at night and go out and celebrate some more. I am trying to find a cute dress that I would wear out that night. I love that short dress in all the David's Bridal ads with the flowers on it, but I'm not spending $600 on a dress I plan on wearing out to like a bar!

I think I am gonna go for the 2nd dress! I think I want to have something more traditional for the ceremony and pictures and then change into something more party-esque for the reception! Im just gonna make sure I budget and spend wisely for 2 instead of all of the $ on 1!!!

I think this is where I'm going to have a tought time buying 2...considering 1 will cost sooooooo much money.

I don't think so. The reception would end at 1:30am and it's in August. It will be hottt!!! If anything, right before we leave and head to the hotel, I'd change into a white summer dress, elegant, but light and comfy.

Keeping on just my dress... I LOVE LOVE LOVE it sooo much that I want every single second of my wedding day to be in it and not change into ANYTHING else (besides my sweat suit MRS... outfit that I think i am going to get customized)

Speaking of, have any of you girls looked into this or know anyone that had a track suit made up? I know people say old navy but their sizes really run too big for me and I want it to be more form fitting- I am thinking of using an old white terry juicy suit that i have or do you think I should go brand new? And how much does it cost to embroider??

I don't see why you can't use what you have and get it embroidered. VS has some also.
