Is it ok to give one favor per couple? I figure most guys arent into favors either way. I am thinking maybe one per couple and one to anyone coming alone. Thinking of doing wine stoppers.
Good, bad, dont do favors at all???

If it's like a bottle of wine or something on the bigger side I think it's ok to give 1 per couple but you should take into consideration the couples that don't live together as well.

Hmm. I definitely agree with the other ladies. It depends on the favor but I would consider doing for each guest.

My mothers side is super Italian right off the boat and in their tradition you do one larger favor per couple and you HAVE to attach those dreaded jordan almonds to each favor that they call coombeets! Lol this has been the one argument my mother and i have had! She won and we're thinking about doing full wine bottles with personalized labels or mason jar cookie mixes! The cookie mixes are soooo cute and its during middle of winter so I'm sure people will go home and bake um! Price wise it's about the same bc we're buying half the favors!

LOL..I'm sorry I saw this and had to laugh. I'm 100% Italian and the first thing I said when I was talking to my mom about favors was NO JORDAN ALMONDS! As far as I know my family is ok with that and those damn almonds will not be present at the wedding!

I hate those damn almonds!!! My mother also wants me to carry a silk sack for the cards rather then have a cardbox, i held my ground on that one! No silk sack!! Lol

I'm doing one wine bottle per couple as well. If it's one of the mini bottles I would give one per person. And I also am being forced to do the almonds...ughhhh.

I've never heard of these almonds until a friend had to help her friend bag them this past November. Luckily, my mom is on board with me about favors. If we were to do something like a wine stopper, we'd definitely be giving one per person. If it was something larger like a bottle of wine or a cake cutter (which a friend of mine did), it would be one per household.
If I were doing wine stoppers I would probably do one per guest. Maybe one per couple if they were married... but I'd say one per guest.
While I am NOT having the jordan almonds at my wedding... I DO think the tradition of them is cute! My mother is full on italian but even she hates them, so I'm not being pressured thankfully.
