Has anyone had any experiences with one stop wedding shops like the Wedding Center?
FH saw their advertising about stimulus and recession packages and all he can think about is the money we'll save. I in the other hand am very skeptical about it.
Any feedback would be much appreciated.

I actually jsut got something in the mail today from Lamar wedding center and was going ot post on here asking about it. If they are realyl that cheap and are decent, it might pay.

one question i would ask myself is how much is the savings ? is the value of saving worth the possibiliity of thiings that could go wrong?
i always feel like every vendor ( esp the one stop shops) has their strong area and every vendor has their weak...
for me, there is an awesome photographer that we love and they offer videos.. their video sux... its clear that video is not their expertise.. photo and video are important to me .. so im just using the photographer for photo only..
i hope i make sense.. (( still @ work and kinda hungry))

As hungry as you are you make perfect sense. That's why I'm very skeptical about it. I of course love a bargain, but it has to come hand in hand with quality.

Here's something to think about... In this economy alot of places have been going out of business. if the one stop shop happens to go out of business you loose all of your money and have to start over from scratch because they are in charge of everything.. Its much easier to replace one vendor/ down payment than it is to have start all over again.

Search for experiences with the wedding center of commack on here, no one seems happy with them!

I haven't seen any good reviews with them. The other girls make good points.
Couped up Productions has cheap video and great quality but I would call asap to lock in 2009 prices. He has edited videos starting at $895. He has an unedited one for $595.
Amanda Picone has a package for $2300 which includes an album. She is the photograoher for the wedding of the year.
Also Light House studios....Their package start at 795 for photos only and the work is really nice. I know there are like 2 people using them on here.

I have heard more negative than positive reviews about the wedding center. Trying searching on here for them and see what you find. HTH

I am booked w. the Wedding Plaza (Ariana Studios) for Photography and Video, and possibly Flowers. FM me for info. I can't give a review because my wedding hasn't occurred yet, but there is info I've gleaned from past brides about them.
FWIW, the price is definitely right. I am getting photo/video for only $ 4,000. Theres another 2010 bride here who is using them for the entire wedding and it cost only around 5-6K for her.

Try The Wedding Plaza Ariana Studios I am using them also they did my brothers wedding and 2 CO workers they do a great job and have some great packages

A lady I work with got everything from Wedding Center in Commack and she said she had absolutely no problems. This was maybe about 7-8 years ago but she said that she got a great package deal. She said there may have been like one or 2 things that went wrong (like maybe her flowers weren't exactly as planned) but she was one of those brides that just couldn't give a s*** so it didn't matter to her. LOL
