One way to save a buck on your Wedding!

As other brides to be, I found it hard to not go 'all out' on my special day. Unfortunately, this leaves you 'all out' of money.

Here's one way for the budgeted bride to get that Vera Wang dress.

Have you thought about ebay? A friend of mine just sold her Amsale dress for about $1800 on ebay! May be worth a try...

I didn't imagine someone would wanna pay without seeing the dress in person first. Ebay would be harder to keep local, so that someone can see the dress in person before they buy, no? Maybe there are options I'm not aware of?

Another idea is to post this on www.weddingchannel.com, local, NY board. There are a lot of girls who look at Vera gown on that board.
eBay is much harder to sell an expensive dress on. Most people on eBay are looking for super bargins.

thanx... I put up on that other board... any other NY/local wedding boards you guys check out?

I'm afraid no one would spend so much without seeing it in person, so i think ebay is out. Appreciate any help on this!

there is a local section of Ebay - you could choose to sell it only in your region. That way people could have the opportunity to see it before bidding.

Thanks, I'll look into that... didn't know there was... although would someone want to bid a large amount of money before they ever saw it, just off digicam pix? Any other good wedding forums like this girls? I'll take ideas if you gottem! thanx
