One week to go til RSVP due date..

Should I expect an influx of RSVPs? Or will I have to hunt the mofos down?

Um...yeah, no. You'll have to hunt em down. I started with e-mails and then resorted to calling. Some people were sooo thoughtless that we actually had to call THREE or more times to get a response.

We gave everyone one week after it was due. Then I told our parents, whoever of theirs was missing, to get on it.

I know I wasn't too happy.
Most of them were DH's family!
One our guests put his RSVP card IN the wedding card he gave us AT the reception! But, it was kind of funny..

My RSVP date is Monday and FMIL, my mom, and FH all have 'their' list of no reply's...come monday- no response- the dogs are being sent out...first by email and then follow-up with a phone call...

I'm sure you will wind up with a lengthy list of people to call. People have tendencies of being completely rude and unthoughtful when it comes to weddings.

People are so annoying with this. Wait a week and then have someone in the BP call those who still have yet to respond. You and FI should not be the ones to call. They simply say 'I am calling about the Smith/Jones wedding. We have yet to receive your response. As we need to give a final headcount to the catering hall, if we don't hear from you at 555-555-5555 in 48 hours, we will assume that you unfortunately will be unable to celebrate the happy day with us.
