One year anniversary! Any beachfront hotel recommendations?
I can't believe we are celebrating our 1 year anniversary next week!!!! We are having dinner at the Thatched Cottage, where we got married, and are very excited about that. We wanted to spend one day before (Sunday) at a hotel on the beach - could be anywhere at all on LI. Any suggestions? TIA

I love montauk. I would stay at Seacres which is more condo ish but if you want a hotel style room check out montauk yatch club.

What about the Alegria hotel in Long Beach?
That's definitely on my 'to-do's' for next summer.

Thank you ladies! Montauk might be a little too far for us, and the Allegria looks amazing, but according to their website there are no rooms available.

I have never been but I see and ad for tha sag harbor in or something or other pop up on here - looks nice!

We stayed at Danfords in port jefferson and i have to say it exceeded my expectations. We have a room overlooking the water and the room had a seperate sitting area and then the room almost in another room, with a very large deck over looking the water. The shower was really nice it is very spaish with the step in the shower, im looking foward to our next special birthday or anniversary so we can stay there again, plus the town of port jefferson is right there.
