I was thinking of putting together a cute little one year away from our wedding date gift for the FH. I have a few little ideas of what I want to put in but I think he might get upset with me bc we are trying to save money and I going to be going and spending more money.
So do you think its a good idea?

I'm the same way, and my FH would react the same way as well. Maybe put something small together for him so he knows the thought is there, but also that you didn't spend a crazy amount of money? Like if there's little snacks he likes, and a magazine he reads, a few little things like that?
A little off topic but I saw something cute (and not $$$) that I was planning to do for FH but probably closer to the wedding, it's a pair of socks with a note that says 'so you don't get cold feet on our wedding day' ? Just a thought!

I think that's a really cute idea! What are you going to get? I think as long as you don't spend too much money, he can't get mad from a present! FH and I love surprising eachother with little presents. We've definitely slowed down with it to save money, but it's always nice to get that little reminder that he was thinking of me and put the effort into finding something. :)

I was thinking of getting a pair of cute socks with a note saying hope you are not getting cold feet yet, I was going to buy him a new watch (he loves watches) with a note saying time is running out, I was thinking of making up a fake airline ticket that says you still have time to use a one way ticket out of here. and i dont know what else yet.
Maybe I won't buy a watch. Maybe i will just take a pic of a clock instead.

Aww that's cute! lol I saw those wedding socks and thought they were great. I thought of getting those for my bro-in-law on his wedding day but all of the socks I saw said that the socks were from the bride. Guess I can use it for my wedding now :) That airline ticket thing is cute and creative. And I agree, buying a watch might be a bit much if you're trying to save (unless the watch is like 20 bucks, which I doubt it is).

So we decided what we are going to do on Friday for our 1 year til our wedding! We are going to go out to Desmonds...The restaurant at East Wind (which is where we are having our wedding). Can't wait to say ONE YEAR TO GO :)
