Has anyone bought their wedding gown from an internet source (e.g. pearlsplace)? What are people's experiences? It is a few hundred less to buy online, but how 'safe' is it?? Thanks!

i bought mine from net.bride.com, saved $100 (before alterations) But can't tell you my experience yet, my outside latest shipdate is Oct. Will tell you then.

I bought my gown from Pearl's Place while I was on vacation in New Orleans last year. It was sent to my home within a few weeks. I had absolutely no problems. But don't try to call, their phone is always busy. Just send emails, they answer them very quickly. I carefully inspected my gown when it arrived and there was nothing wrong with it and it contained all of the tags. I say go for it, you really will save alot of money. I am getting my gown altered where my bridesmaids bought their dresses. Good luck.

I bought my BMs gowns on netbride and have been really happy.
I know someone who spent several thousands on her gown (but saved a bundle from the retail price) going through www.bridepower.com

I got my Reem Acra off bridepower.com I would definately recommend it if you like the hi end stuff and you're a sample size. The dress was still $2500 but that was half the price of what they wanted at the boutique.

I bought off wedding expressions and it got here so quick! I had wanted a trim on the bottom and it wasnt there like it was advertised they are sending a fed ex guy to come pick it up and sew on the trim for me which i thought was very nice. As long as you try on retail I think its really only cutting out the middle man, not scary because they are basically ordering directly from the manufacturer for you. I saved over 200!
