Online Bridal Shoppers beware!!!....long

i have had the worst experience from an online bridal shop. this site offers bridal wear, bm, fg, etc. i placed an order for a dress i wanted to wear a friends wedding. a cocktail length dress. their policy is that you leave a deposit of 1/2 that is non-refundable after 24 hrs. they are supppsed to email you an expected delivery date within the 24hr period. I was sceptical(sp) but this site come recommended by the book Bridal Bargains. i also read about some other brides who ordered so i figured it was ok. well the wedding is 6/28 and they emailed me a delivery date of 8/03. I immediatly emailed them to cancel. they said that they would keep my deposit. after explaining that i didn't recieve an email from them within the 24 hr pd the best they could do was offer me a credit minus $25.00. just wanted to post and let you gals who are ordering bm and wedding gowns online to beware. i'm so *issed! who has $25.00 to give away! sorry had to vent!

That's awful!!! Can they just do that? I mean, you cancelled right when they couldn't deliver when you needed the dress by!
Is there anyone you can call? I'd raise he!!

Sorry this happened to you. Can you dispute the charge on your cc? You should be able to as this company did not fulfill their end of the order.

Since you used a credit card, can't you have your credit card company dispute the charge? If you have the email notification and it has the date and time, it seems like you have a very good case. I hope it works out.

Please FM me too. I am glad you filed with the BBB. You should definitely write to bridal bargains. Maybe they will give you something for endorsing them. It is worth a shot... You never know...
