ONLINE Invitations--are they really cheaper?

anyone get their wedding invites online at vistaprint, paperdiva, etc.??

I'm wondering if it is really worth it to go that route compared the old fashion books to look through..

my invitations are on Invitationsbydawn.com but i got them through Party City... They were almost $100 cheaper through pc than if i got them from the website...

I'm getting my invitations through even*star*paperie (take out the *'s) and am paying around $600. The one's I liked in books were about 2k!!!!

i was going to odrder invitiations on wedding paper divas and they would have been more expensive than the custom ones i had done by Tammy at Marry Me! Designs. And my invitiations are much much nicer that the wedding paper divas ones!
