Online RSVP

Who is going to include their wedding website (if any) on your invitaions so your guests could RSVP online? I think that is a good way of keeping track of your guest who accept and/or decline

plus i like having the actual rsvp card, helps with making the seating arrangements and seeing who is coming by keeping track of the rsvp card

Yeah I thougt of that because I would have to pay for the RSVP cards regardless bec some people may not have internet access.

Yeah thats what I thougt also, the older people will send it back to make sure I got it bec they dont trust the computer, lol and the internet savvy people will do it online. Its a great idea IMO, but if may get confusing. I will look into it

I won't b/c I don't have a wedding website but I think it's a GREAT idea. I would definitely be more inclined to RSVP online myself. I would also rather have someone RSVP online than not at all...

Re: Online RSVP

We'll be putting the website on all of the RSVPs and including a self-addressed stamped envelope for the people we know don't have access to the internet or are too old to know what to do. I know some people think it goes against some etiquette rule..but I like to live on the edge

for me its not about etiquette, if you want to do it and will help out with your guest list go for it.

For me its if im gonna waste my time to get stamps and pay for them, which i estimated around how much ill pay for stamps, its a little over $150, i want people to use it lol

my feelings too! i know some ppl like doing this, but just wasn't something i wanted to do. i like the idea of getting the RSVP back with the card and all. but everyone is different.

At first I thought it would be confusing but I wouldnt mind sending out RSVP cards and also have on the invite the option to RSVP online. People are diff, some may want to make sure you got it in the mail and other dont have time to mail but always on the comp.

I agree..some will want to RSVP online and others will not. I think it's a good idea to give them both options.....A coworker of mine sent out her invitations with both options and a little less than half of her guests RSVD'd online. (Both her and her FH work in an IT Dept so a lot of her friends are computer geeks )

yea...a lot of my friends and family won't bother to send back the reply cards in the mail...which is a big waste of $$ and time for FH and i......some of them have told me it'd be easier for them if i just had an online rsvp..

..and for FH's sister's wedding a lot of his family told his mom over the phone that they were coming instead of sending back the reply card..

so that's why we're omitting the SASE from the invites of those people that won't use the reply card anyway
